The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Digitalization for a Sustainable Future’.
Digitalization for a sustainable future is about improving the state and outcomes for humanity through the design, implementation and maintenance of actionable information systems. Our Global Society exists upon a partially-closed finite resource planet of complex interacting systems where materials and energy are finite and should be applied in the most efficient way to both optimize sustainability of the system and to minimise inefficiencies which can otherwise manifest as wastage and pollution.
