Zimmer and Peacock have developed a range of lactate sensors for both D and L isomers. The L isomer is suitable for endogenous lactate, whilst the D lactate detection is used in microbial applications.
ZP has used two classes of enzymes in building biosensors for our clients programmes, so we have formulations for lactate detection not dependent on having a source of co-factor, such as oxygen.
