Welcome to this week’s newsletter from Zimmer and Peacock. This newsletter is a mixture of news, stories and tech notes from Zimmer and Peacock. If you want to subscribe to our newsletter or have any questions regarding Zimmer and Peacock and our passion for biosensor technologies please don’t hesitate to contact us.
ZP @ BioMed Boston 2019
ZP were at BioMed Boston this week discussing biosensors, sensors and wearable sensors. We were able to demonstrate our technology’s application from chilli sauce to THC to breath.
ZP @ Medical Wearables 2019
ZP were at Medical Wearables San Jose CA this week, where we spoke about wearable biosensors including: glucose, lactate, sodium and potassium. Please click the buttons below to find out more.
PalmSens Pico with ZP glucose sensor
ZP is the gold standard in biosensors and screen-printed electrodes, and so we were delighted to have our sensors featured in PalmSens’ latest video demonstrating the EmStat Pico Development Kit. Combining the EmStat Pic Development Kit with the range of biosensors from Zimmer and Peacock is the fastest route to development and ultimately the market.
If you have any questions on productizing your sensor and biosensor ideas don’t hesitate to contact Zimmer and Peacock.
THC and CBD detection
At Zimmer and Peacock we are focused on the contract development and manufacturing of biosensors for our clients and customers. With the legalisation in some regions of marijuana/cannabis and the increasing use of cannabidiol for pain and and anxiety relief then ZP understands the increasing need for low cost sensors, around applications which require the detection of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), applications include: quality control, detection and abuse detection.
In collaboration with the team from Prifysgol Abertawe ZP has developed the core technology for the low cost rapid detection of THC and CBD.
ZP plans to use the technology with our clients and collaborators so that they can exploit the technology in their applications and markets. To find out more and to collaberate with ZP please don’t hesitate to contact ZP.
ZP launches Nitrate Biosensor
Nitrate is both an essential part of modern agriculture, but its over application leads to environmental contamination.
At ZP we have launched the worlds first commercially available nitrate biosensor. This nitrate electrochemical biosensor fits alongside ZP’s phosphate and potassium sensors and completes our NPK panel.
