ZP’s technology suitable for Sepsis detection

Many clinicians and care providers are calling for the early detection of sepsis, and though there is a body of work focusing on the interleukins, including IL6, there is a primary signal for sepsis which is the bacteria itself, this includes: Streptococcus pneumoniae, Neisseria meningitidis, and Staphylococcus aureus.

The ZP screen printed electrode platform and our ability to detect whole cells is a great platform for Sepsis detection, either through proteins such as the interleukins or the pathogens directly.
